Translatingcorporate documents
Articles of association & By-laws
Especially corporations that operate internationally often require translations of certain documents in an officially certified form. Corporate documents may be very similar across the globe, but there are many differences between each country. We typically prepare certified translations of the following corporate documents:
- Statutes and by-laws
- Articles of association and company agreements
- Trade register extracts
- Powers of representation
- Financial statement
Which corporate documents we translate
Companies operating internationally must have their corporate documents translated in certified form on a regular basis in order for them to be understood and accepted abroad. Schleicher Sprachservice has been specialised in Legal and Finance since it was founded over 20 years ago. You can count on us. Typically, we translate the following corporate documents for our customers.
When foreign companies want to lay the foundation for a subsidiary or branch office in Germany, the relevant authorities will often request for a complete translation of the foreign company’s statutes. This is usually required to be an official or certified translation, which Schleicher Sprachservice is happy to prepare for you.
Call us or send us an email so we can get back to you with a binding offer free of charge.
When a subsidiary company is founded in a foreign country, it is often required to hand in a certified translation of the parent company to the relevant authorities. If you happen to already have a bilingual version, it may be that you only need a certified translation of the notarisation done by the foreign notary.
Does that sound complicated? Not for us. We’ll take care of it for you.
If you require a certified translation of a commercial register excerpt, Schleicher Sprachservice will help you competently. The process is simple: Just send us the required document via email and we will get back to you with a binding offer free of charge. Once you have accepted, we will send you the certified translation to hand in to the authorities via mail.
Sometimes you may require an apostille in addition to the certified translation of your trade register extract when in communication with the German authorities. We are happy to help in this regard as well.
Foreign companies are often required by German authorities to verify that their employees are authorised to represent the company. This usually entails the certified translation of a notarised power of representation or similar certification by a foreign registry authority.
If you have subsiduaries in Germany, you may even want to prepare a bilingual power of representation that you can use both here and at your headquarters. If this is the case, get in touch with us. We are happy to present you with a binding offer including the cost and delivery date of your translated power of representation.
When founding a new company or when two or more companies are merged into one, you may require a certified translation of the financial statements or balance sheets of all participating companies. Sometimtes it is even enough to only have a portion of these documents translated.
First, find out whether you need a translation of your entire financial statement or only an extract of it and plan with enough time for the translation. Then, get in touch with us and lean back – we will take care of the rest.
